About me
I create under the name Olia Blagov, my full name is Olga Blagoveshchenska. This pseudonym has become a natural extension of my artistic journey, reflecting the evolution of my creative identity and helping to build a deeper international dialogue through art.
I graduated from the State Academy of Design and Arts in Kharkiv, Ukraine, with a degree in industrial design in 2000. Early in my career, I collaborated with ELLE-Ukraine magazine, creating illustrations for their articles, worked in the advertising industry, and participated in joint projects with Ukrainian fashion designers. These experiences shaped my artistic vision and deepened my understanding of visual storytelling.
Over time, my artistic practice evolved towards painting, allowing me to explore transformation, space, and identity. My work balances abstraction and figuration, capturing moments of transition and change.
Currently, I actively participate in group exhibitions and international art projects, focusing my practice on the exploration of movement, time, and emotional landscapes.
I live and work in Vienna, Austria.
Art, for me, is a way to explore the boundaries between the visible and the invisible, the real and the imagined. It allows me to create new worlds where the viewer can discover their own meanings and emotions.
